Are you playing with standard grips? Do you feel that you are gripping the club too tightly? Are your golf grips worn out? Then this guide is for you! Hence, you should play with a grip that fits you and your hands!
Choosing the right golf grip can be difficult, especially when consumers are fed terms like cord, align, ribbed, plus4 and so on. We have therefore created this guide to help you find the right grip for you! If you prefer to watch videos, you'll find all the info you need in the clip.

The different materials and features of the grips
Now that you've chosen the size of your grips, it's time to choose the features that suit you and your golf game.

Rubber grips
Rubber grips are the most common type of grip and they work in all weather conditions and are a good all-round grip. The feel of rubber grips is slightly softer.
Cord grip
Cord grips are rubber grips that have a cotton thread sewn throughout the grip. This is relevant if you prefer grips that feel a little harder in the hand. In addition, cord grip has exceptional properties in high humidity environments and it also performs very well in the rain. The texture of these grips is on the rougher side.

Wrap Grips
Wrap grips are among the softest options! We recommend this type of grip if you prefer to play in good weather and prefer soft and sticky grips.
Multi-texture grips
Multi-textured grips are perhaps the optimal mix? Cord on the top of the grip which, as mentioned above, performs excellently in humid environments. The bottom part of the grip is in regular rubber which feels a little softer in the hand. The upper part with cord becomes a little rougher in the feeling.

Ribbed grips
Ribbed grips are a great way to ensure you always grip the club in the same way. These grips have a "spine" built into the underside of the grip. Golfpride offers their Alignment grips in everything from regular rubber grips to multi-texture grips to plus4 grips.
Plus4/Less taper grips
Plus4/Less taper grips are grips that are simply less tapered than regular grips. The thickness of the lower part of the grip is equivalent to adding four layers of extra tape under the grip. This can be helpful to be able to grip slightly looser with the lower hand. Something that can result in a freer and faster swing.

Osteoarthritis grip
Osteoarthritis grips are designed for people with joint pain or osteoarthritis. These grips are slightly thicker and softer than regular grips, all to reduce the strain on your joints.
Summary
In conclusion, the choice of grip is very much about feel. Grips come in many different varieties and can be anything from rough to sticky and soft to hard. It is also important to consider the weather conditions you usually play in. This is because there are grips that perform well when it is sunny outside but may not be as good when it rains.
